A brain-computer interface (BCI), also called mind-machine interface (MMI), and also direct neural interface (DNI), synthetic telepathic interface (STI) or brain-machine interface, is a direct communicative path between the brain and an external device. ICCs are often aimed at assisting, increasing or repairing human cognition or sense-asmotoring functions.
Today, these devices are beginning to be produced on a large scale and at low costs, for the most part to be applied in the areas of education and personal development.
