Oxysoft is our proprietary NIRS analysis and recording software. Oxysoft allows robust recording even from multiple devices at the same time, in any imaginable combination. This means you can combine recordings from multiple Oximons, Portamons, Portalites and Octamons into one measurement using just one program. All data is synchronized and stored in a data file. You can analyze your data in real time, during recording or afterwards.
Provides real-time calculation of oxy, deoxy, total hemoglobin and tissue saturation index (TSI)
Applied to all our NIRS devices;
Real-time calculation of oxy, deoxy, total hemoglobin and tissue saturation index (TSI);

About
Oxysoft is a dedicated software application used to collect, store, view and analyze all necessary data from Oxymon, OctaMon, PortaMon and PortaLite. This user friendly software was developed by Artinis Medical Systems and highly customizable as per individual requirements.
Data analysis
Oxysoft data can be analyzed in many ways. First, you can analyze the data from within Oxysoft. Oxysoft offers a variety of standard analysis techniques such as filtering, averaging and statistical analysis. Secondly, all data can also be exported to standard data formats such as csv, txt or xls file format. Third, we provide a MATLAB script, which allows you to import your data obtained from Oxysoft directly into various MATLAB toolboxes, such as Homer2, NIRS-SPM or FieldTrip. The script also allows you to import the raw data, so you are free to do whatever analysis you prefer from within MATLAB.
Resources
Its main features include:
Data collection
Import and export Oxymon data files
Export can be to a text file, Microsoft Excel or XML
Import and scale data acquired through optional analog input channels
Importing data files collected with other instruments
Data resampling
Filtering data using various types of filters
Data visualization
Calculation of mean, average, standard deviation and regression
Calculating differences between selected deadlines
Calculation of oxygen consumption, blood flow, venous saturation and arterial saturation
Stimulus (blocking) averaging (for functional NIR studies) including delay function
Generate events from external inputs, very useful for functional NIRS studies
Preparing two-dimensional graphics
Preparation of videos of 2-D plots, for example for presentations. Very useful for brain mapping!
Comparing between traits
Files are collected within a project – analysis can be configured for all files simultaneously
New files are easily added
The original datasets are always unaffected
Real-time data export to Matlab and other software
Offline data export to Matlab and Matlab (SPM) based software packages
Sync with other software and devices
Extensions
We provide the opportunity to access expanded visualization options designed to optimize your measurement protocol, better review your results, and optimally support your high-impact neuroscience publication. The Oxysoft 3D extension can visualize your data in 3D models of the human head brain based on the widely used MNI models.
With the 3D extension you can:
Visualize your data in 3D models of the human head brain based on widely used MNI models.
Use a built-in intuitive user interface for Polhemus fast tracking device
Automatically store scanned positions of optodes
OXYSOFT 3D & POLHEMUS
We partnered with Polhemus Inc, who create devices for object scanning, such as the Polhemus Patriot device or the Polhemus Fastrack. Using these devices, you can accurately measure the position of the optodes on the subject's head. Oxysoft 3D guides you through this process with an intuitive built-in user interface. No third party software is required for this process. Alternatively, you can import digitized positions from other manufacturers, such as ANT's xensor or Magstim's EEG tracking device. Oxysoft automatically stores the digitized positions of the optodes and transforms and visualizes them in the integrated 3D models. Not only does this allow you to better review your data and results, it also allows you to report optode positions in MNI coordinate space.
