The bipolar NeXus ExG Sensor uses shielded cable technology and is designed for measuring 1 or 2 channels of biopotential (ExG) signals likeEEG(brain activity),sEMG(muscle activity),ECG/EKG(heart rate and HRV) orEOGfor eye movement. (electrooculography). This is a dual channel bipolar cable with two red snap-on connectors (positive) and two black (negative) snap-on connectors which are compatible with most ECG/EKG/EMG self-adhesive electrodes and with the blue disc EEG electrodes.
The other version of this ExG cable has standard 1.5 mm TP (touch proof) EEG connectors for bipolar EEG measurement. (2x red, 2x black) We also provide linked-ear (LE) EEG cables which have 2 or 4 (uni-polar) red (positive) electrodes, while the negative electrodes (black or grey) are shorted and referenced to the earlobes or mastoids. You can find those under the other section called "EEG Linked Ear Sensors".
The dual channel ExG Sensor cable has a sturdy brushed metal connector for connecting to your NeXus-10. The shielded cables In combination with the NeXus active shielding technology significantly reduce 50/60 Hz noise and movement artifacts. Please note that when recording electrophysiological signals (biopotentials) you always need to also connect theground referencecable.
The EXG Sensor uses the 6 pinbrushed metalconnector for the NeXus | 10, the NeXus | Q24 and the NeXus 4 and NeXus 32F.
NeXus-Q32 - for this system the sensor uses a black plastic ODU connectorto connect to the unit. Please note that the Q32 Sensors and cables can only be used on the NeXus-Q32.
