The BVP Head Sensor can be used to measure relative changes in blood flow and is placed on the Arteria Temporalis on the side of the head. It uses near infrared light technology, also known as PPG (photoplethysmography). BVP is an efficient way for non-invasive measurement (data acquisition) of relative blood flow.
