How to describe the New Brite?
With the Brite MKII, we have incorporated flexible interoptode distances. Whether you want to measure shallow or deep, any distance from 10mm up to 55mm is now possible.
The flexible optode model in OxySoft allows users to select specific optode models (up to 27 channels) applicable to any cortical area and according to their preferred layout. This makes it possible to have a unique setup for any custom study.
The Brite MKII weighs less than 300 grams in total! This portability, in combination with the soft neoprene helmet, makes monitoring cerebral oxygenation of the elderly, children and vulnerable patients comfortable and easy.

Brite Applications
Brite can be used to measure oxygenation in any part of the brain. The subjects can even perform physical activities, such as walking and cycling, not to mention that it weighs less than 300 grams in total! This wearable capability makes monitoring cerebral oxygenation of the elderly, children and vulnerable patients comfortable and easy. The device connects to the laptop with a long-range Bluetooth antenna and incorporates a built-in 9-axis motion sensor to measure head movements..
THE NIRS TECHNIQUE
Optical oximetry and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), in particular, is a tool to non-invasively assess the oxygenation and hemodynamic status of various organs, e.g., muscle and brain. They mainly depend on two characteristics of human tissue. First, the relative transparency of tissue to light in the NIR range, and second, the oxygenation-dependent light absorption of hemoglobin.
Software
All of our devices come with OxySoft. OxySoft is our dedicated software application used to collect, store, view and analyze all necessary data. This user-friendly software is developed by Artinis and is highly customizable as per individual requirements. OxySoft provides real-time calculation of oxy, deoxy, total hemoglobin and TSI.
EXPAND THE MEASUREMENT AREA
Combining two Brite MKII systems can be done easily because OxySoft can connect multiple devices simultaneously. Therefore, the data is perfectly synchronized and combined into one data stream.
UP TO 54 CHANNELS
Using Dual Brite on a survey participant creates up to 54 channels. This makes it perfect for measuring multiple areas of the brain at once.
Hyperscanning
